Next Destination could head to Aintree next after Saturday's win at Warwick, according to jockey Harry Cobden.
The Paul Nicholls-trained Next Destination managed to maintain his unbeaten record over fences with a determined victory in the McCoy Contractors Civils And Infrastructure Hampton Novices' Chase at Warwick.
After turning for home first under the guidance of Cobden, the nine-year-old gelding managed to hold off a late challenge from Fiddlerontheroof to win by a length and a half.
Speaking about the plans for Next Destination after this success, Cobden says heading to Aintree for the Mildmay Novices' Chase instead of the Cheltenham Festival is likely.
"I don't know if he is an RSA horse," he said, as quoted by Sky Sports. "The three-mile race at Aintree might suit him. Paul might get him home tonight and think RSA it is, or say 'right, we will take our time and go for Aintree'.
"One thing I do know is the be all and end all is not Cheltenham in Paul's mind, so Aintree is on the cards."
