Willie Mullins says he could send Great White Shark on the the hunt for the Stayers' Hurdle title after her victory in the Cesarewitch.
The six-year-old produced a powerful finish to Saturday's big handicap race at Newmarket as she left her 33 rivals way in the distance to score by three lengths, completing a Cesarewitch hat-trick for Mullins.
The Closutton handler says the mare's performance has opened plenty of doors and Mullins is searching for another suitable outing on the Flat.
However, Mullins also feels Great White Shark could be a success back over hurdles, having previously finished third in the Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival earlier in the year.
The Stayers' Hurdle could be the ultimate target for her and Mullins has enjoyed plenty of success in that race recently with Nichols Canyon landing the title in 2017, while Penhill scooped the 2018 prize.
"She is improving all the time and she was very good on Saturday. I will have a look and see what there is left for her on the Flat, but a lot more doors have been opened for her now," Mullins told the Racing Post
"We'll certainly have a look at the Stayers' Hurdle route and give it some consideration. She is rated 145 over hurdles, so she will have to improve again. She ran a cracker in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham in March with Donie McInerney."
