Trainer Charlie Fellowes has confirmed he has accepted an invitation for Prince Of Arran to compete in the Japan Cup later this month.
The Saeed bel Obaida-owned horse excelled when finishing second at this week's Melbourne Cup - the second year in a row he has mounted a serious challenge to win Australia's most famous annual race.
Fellowes was certainly pleased with how Prince Of Arran performed at Flemington Racecourse, while the six-year-old was also victorious in the Geelong Cup during his time on Australian soil.
The son of Shirocco has certainly been far and wide over recent times, as he has also enjoyed impressive runs in Dubai and America, with Fellowes confirming the next stop on his jet-set tour will be to head to Tokyo for the Japan Cup on November 24.
"Looks like Prince Of Arran is going to get a new stamp in his passport," Fellowes confirmed on Twitter. "His next start will be in the Japan Cup on Sunday 24th November. He has come through the Melbourne Cup perfectly and will fly to Tokyo on Monday."
