Enable will remain in training in 2020 and looks set to continue her racing career, owner Khalid Abdullah has confirmed.
The five-year-old looked set to be retired after failing to create history by claiming a third success in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe earlier this month.
Andre Fabre's Waldgeist upset the odds at ParisLongchamp and brought to an end Enable's 12-race winning streak, which also included victories in two King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes, a Coral-Eclipse and a Breeders' Cup Turf.
But talk of the John Gosden-trained mare calling it a day now appear to be premature after Abdullah's racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe confirmed in a statement that Enable will be kept in training.
It read: "Prince Khalid has decided to keep Enable in training for 2020.
"She has come out of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in good form and will not race again this year.
"Her racing programme will be determined entirely on her well being, so no racing plans will be announced at this stage. The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe remains an important target."
