Richard Hannon said Threat will be in "all the end-of-season Group Ones" after his win in the Pommery Champagne Stakes at Doncaster.
The two-year-old juvenile has enjoyed an impressive 2019 with a debut win at Newmarket followed by second spots at both Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood respectively.
Threat then triumphed in the Gimcrack Stakes at York last month and, despite carrying a 3lb penalty, he edged out Royal Crusade by a neck to claim a win in the Group Two contest at Doncaster on Saturday.
Afterwards, a delighted Hannon said: "When you see what he does at home you think, 'how good can he be?', but on track he just does what he has to do. He had a 3lb penalty there and it was quite cosy.
"He's a stallion for the Thompsons (Cheveley Park Stud) now, which is important - he's won two Group Twos.
"He's in all the end-of-season Group Ones and we'll just see where he ends up. We'll work back from the Guineas."
