Polydream's win at ParisLongchamp has set her up for a defence of the Prix Maurice de Gheest title at Deauville next month.
The four-year-old filly ended a three-race run without a win by claiming a fairly comfortable half-length success ahead of Marianafoot in Thursday evening's Group Three Prix de la Porte Maillot.
And trainer Freddy Head claims the timing is now ideal for a return to Group One action to defend her Prix Maurice de Ghees crown on August 4.
He said: "She did it very well. She ran a good race and has come out it very well.
"We're are going for the Prix Maurice de Gheest - the race she won last year
"The timing of that race is good."
