Trainer Freddy Head says it is not a sure thing that Anodor will be seen at Longchamp on October 7.
Ecurie Jean-Louis Bouchar's horse made it two wins from two in Paris last time out as she made all the running in the Des Chenes Group 3 Stakes, fending off second-placed Insandi.
Connections are deliberating whether to send the two-year-old to Longchamp next month and step him up to Group One company in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere over a mile.
Although the French meeting is the logical place to go next, Head is concerned about over-racing Anodor and admits it is not a certainty the colt will race again this year.
"I like him a lot. He was very well this morning. He's fine," said the Chantilly trainer. "The obvious race is the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere on Arc day. We'll see. If he comes out of the race well, we will go for that.
"I don't want him to have too hard a race this year. He's a backward colt and I know he will improve. I think he'll be a good horse next year."
