Racecourse manager Kevin Coleman says the four-day July meeting at Bellewstown is likely to become a regular fixture on the calendar.
The biggest festival the racecourse has previously held was three days but this year Bellewstown opted for an extended event.
Coleman now hopes the four-day feature will become a regular fixture on the racing calendar as he branded this year's festival a success.
"Upping it to four days has been a terrific success and we hope it's here to stay," said Coleman, as reported by the Racing Post.
"We had a huge crowd here on Friday night, over 4,500, and the place was hopping. There was a terrific atmosphere and everybody seemed to really enjoy themselves. Even Daryl Jacob paid a visit and he had great praise for us.
"We were thrilled with the crowd on Wednesday evening and it was slightly bigger on Thursday, so the appetite is certainly there for four days of racing at Bellewstown."
