With BTO Plus+ set for Dundalk sponsorship initiativePosted on Tuesday 2nd February 2016 @ 17.19 is linking up with Ireland's only all-weather racing venue, Dundalk, as a key race sponsor at their flagship Friday night meetings.

Racing under the lights at Dundalk has become an integral part of the Irish horse racing scene since the track opened in August 2007.

Sportsbook will be coming on board from Friday 5th February 2016 for an initial spell of four race nights that stretches into early April.

The online bookmaker has signed up to be the title sponsor for 17 races across the four Friday night fixtures, including what could be one of the standout nights of the year, Friday 18th March 2016 – the day after St Patrick's Day!

Russell Yershon, UK Sports Manager for, is excited to be starting a brand new relationship with Dundalk. He said: "We are very proud to branch out and sponsor racing at Dundalk in Ireland. Our sponsorship covers four Fridays starting with the competitive all-weather card on 5th February 2016.

"We will run competitive Dundalk promotions on each race night, looking to continue our growth in UK. Friday night under the lights at Dundalk sees plenty of turnover and, adding sponsorship, we feel it can grow our business."

Dundalk's flagship Friday night meetings attract the best that Ireland has to offer on the Flat, with the likes of Aidan O'Brien, Dermot Weld, Jim Bolger and Johnny Murtagh being committed supporters of the track.

The success of the polytrack at Dundalk has been a significant development for racing in Ireland, and the highly competitive cards on offer also ensure there is plenty of interest from raiding British trainers in the prize money. will see their initial run of sponsorship at Dundalk dovetail perfectly with the start of the 2016 Flat season and the countdown towards the first Classic of the year in late spring.

Dundalk are delighted to be bringing on board for their first foray into sponsorship in Irish racing.

Jim Martin, CEO of Dundalk Stadium, is hoping it will be the start of a bright partnership.

He said: "We are delighted to be partnering with on this, their first venture into sponsorship in Ireland. We wish them continued success in the future."

Look out for Sport bet site with an array of special offers on Friday 5th February 2016 as they make their keenly anticipated Irish debut under the bright lights at Dundalk.
