Progressive Six Year Old Ticks A Lot Of Boxes
On just his sixth race under rules, POUGNE BOBBI looks a natural at the bigger obstacles and seeks to follow up last week's win today. He left his chase debut form well behind when scoring impressively at Ludlow nine days ago and it seems sure that we haven't seen the best of him yet. He looked a stayer in the making when winning on his hurdles debut at Chepstow on the heavy last February and then ran well on his chase debut at Bangor in December before winning in impressive style in that latter Ludlow event. He is rated top on BTOPlus+ regular and speed figures and gets a nice positive in trainer Henderson's 10 from 38 at the course. He would ideally want further but the tough Sandown hill finish is in his favour and we can expect him to be staying on at the finish. He is 6/4 with many of the layers.
